Tras dos semanas de clases, charlas  y aprendizajes sobre las tradiciones españolas, Martina ha disfrutado de sus últimos días en el IES Antigua-Sexi. 

Además de asistir a lecciones de Latin, Matemáticas o Economía, disfrutó de lo lindo en su visita a Granada y La Alhambra junto con Leire, nuestra alumna de 2º Bach A. Tras divisar los Jardines del Generalife, disfrutar del paseo por la Alcazaba o contemplar las vistas de Sierra Nevada, anduvieron el resto del día por el casco histórico y sus callejuelas, quedando Martina fascinada por la arquitectura típica nazarí. 

Para terminar la experiencia Erasmus, la estudiante italiana recibió el Certificado de Participación, algunos regalos de nuestro centro y disfrutó de una visita por los principales monumentos de Almuñécar con el fin de guardar un buen recuerdo de su estancia en nuestra localidad. Aprovechamos estas líneas para agradecer la colaboración del Ayuntamiento de Almuñécar y, muy especialmente, a la Oficina de Turismo por su apoyo incondicional en la acogida de otros centros europeos dentro de los Programas Erasmus+, dando así la oportunidad de que nuestra ciudad siga creciendo, no solamente en el marco turístico y/o cultural, sino también en el ámbito educativo. 

Por último, pero no menos importante, agradecer también la colaboración e implicación de la familia de acogida, haciendo que Martina se sintiera “como en casa” en todo momento.

LAST WEEK OF MARTINA’S STAY IN IES ANTIGUA-SEXI

After two weeks of classes, talks and learnings about Spanish traditions, Martina has enjoyed her last days in IES Antigua-Sexi. 

Apart from attending lessons of Latin, Mathematics or Economics, she had a great ball in her visit to Granada and The Alhambra together with Leire, our student of 2º Bach A. After walking around the Generalife Gardens, the Alcazaba or gazing at the magnificent views of Sierra Nevada, they went for a walk around the old town centre and its small, narrow streets where Martina got fascinated by the typical Nasrid architecture. 

To finish the Erasmus experience, the Italian student received the Certificate of Participation, some gifts from our school and went sightseeing around the main tourist sites of Almuñécar with the aim of preserving a good memory of her stay in our city. We would like to thank the Town Hall of Almuñécar and, more especially, the Tourism Office for their strong support and collaboration when hosting other european schools within the Erasmus´+ Programmes, so giving the chance that our city keeps growing, not only from a tourist or cultural point of view, but also from an educational perspective. 

Last but not least, we would also like to thank our host family for their collaboration and involvement, making Martina “feel at home” at every moment.

Durante su segunda semana, la alumna italiana Martina Cutillo ha participado en varias actividades. Para comenzar, el lunes asistió a una Charla sobre “Violencia de Género”.  Además, el miércoles tuvo la oportunidad de acompañar a nuestro alumnado de 1° ESO en su visita al Acueducto romano de Plaza Mayor con el fin de realizar trabajos arqueológicos y así conocer en mayor detalle la historia e importancia de los acueductos de nuestra localidad. Para finalizar la semana, un grupo de alumnas de 2° ESO le hizo una entrevista bastante interesante donde respondió preguntas sobre su experiencia Erasmus en nuestro centro, el lugar donde vive o la comparativa entre los sistemas educativos italiano y español. 

Independientemente de estas actividades, la estudiante también ha asistido a varias clases de Inglés, Economía de Empresa, Educación Física o Marketing.

SECOND WEEK OF MARTINA’S STAY IN IES ANTIGUA-SEXI 

In her second week, the Italian student Martina Cutillo has taken part in several activities. To start with, last Monday, she attended a Talk about “Violence Against Women”. Furthermore, last Monday, she had the chance to accompany our 1° ESO students in their visit to the Roman Aqueduct in Plaza Mayor in order to do some archeological tasks and, therefore, get to know the history and importance of aqueducts in our city. To finish the week, a group of 2° ESO students carried out a really interesting interview at which Martina answered a number of questions about her Erasmus experience in our high-school, the city where she lives or the comparison between the Italian and the Spanish educational systems. 

Apart from these activities, the pupil has also attended several lessons of English, Economics, Physical Education or Marketing.

El alumnado de 1º ESO ha disfrutado de las XII Jornadas Arqueológicas de Almuñécar. Los alumnos han podido conocer el trabajo del arqueólogo a través de talleres en el Acueducto Romano de la localidad.  #Educación #Arqueología #Almuñécar

El pasado martes llegó a nuestro centro una estudiante italiana procedente de Meda. La alumna va a realizar una estancia de tres semanas dentro del Programa Erasmus + con el fin de aprender sobre el sistema educativo español, perfeccionar el idioma y, por supuesto, conocer en detalle sobre las tradiciones y cultura españolas. 

En su primer día, participó en una Charla sobre “Delitos Sexuales” impartida por la Guardia Civil. Tras el recreo, le dimos la bienvenida con un desayuno en la cafetería, entrega de regalos y visita de las instalaciones. Para finalizar, asistió a las clases de Física e Inglés.

WELCOME TO IES ANTIGUA-SEXI!

Last Tuesday, we hosted an Italian student from Meda. She is going to do a three-weeks stay thanks to the Erasmus+ Program in order to learn about the Spanish educational system, improve the language and, obviously, get to know about the traditions and culture from Spain. 

On her first day, she took part in a Talk about “Sexual Crimes” imparted by the Civil Guard. After the break time, we celebrated a “Welcome breakfast” at the cafeteria so as to give her some gifts and show our school around. To finish, she attended the lessons of Physics and English.

El IES Antigua Sexi, como todos los años, está comprometido en educar a su alumnado para concienciarlos sobre esta problemática, a través de diverso tipo de actividades programadas: charlas, películas, actividades de reflexión y debate, información, etc. que se llevarán a cabo a lo largo del curso escolar. El pasado martes 04 de noviembre tuvimos la visita de la Guardia Civil, que a través del Plan Director, ofrece información al alumnado sobre el acoso, el ciberacoso, delitos de odio, delitos sexuales, etc. Los chicos y chicas tuvieron oportunidad de compartir sus dudas, inquietudes y concienciarse sobre la responsabilidad que tienen para no participar en bromas, burlas, insultos, así como las consecuencias legales a las que se podrían enfrentar. Además, en las horas de tutoría se va a trabajar esta temática para ayudar al alumnado a desarrollar actitudes de empatía, tolerancia, escucha al otro, cómo ayudar si son testigos de comportamientos inadecuados, etc. Se va a hacer a través de materiales de la Fundación ANAR, cortometrajes, juegos, materiales online, guías, otras charlas con diversos profesionales, comics…

Last Friday, the 31st of October we celebrated Halloween. As part of the Bilingual project, the departments of English, History, Literature, French, and PE organised many different activities and we had several Halloween contests:  best Halloween superhero , best cake , best costume , best decorated door and best Hallowen story. The result was amazing: lots of scary and fun superheroes, some wonderful and tasty cakes, really creative and frightening stories, spooky costumes and super imaginative and creepy doors. It was really difficult to choose a winner!!

The students also took part in a Halloween gymkhana, recorded some sinister videos and created amazing posters explaining some Halloween traditions: costumes and masks, candies, superstitions,…
