European Day of Languages

On Tuesday, the 26th of September we celebrated the European Day of Languages. It was an opportunity for our students to remember the importance of language learning and the relevant European linguistic diversity. There are more than 200 European languages!!
The students of 3º and 4º ESO had to find out how to say a word in different European languages and we studied some “false friends” and some idioms. This way they learnt how our languages are connected and the peculiarities of some words and phrases. Their translation is sometimes a bit tricky!

They worked hard and they created some really good posters for their classes. Well done!!
